Needed a new show to binge on and came across the 5 star show on Netflix, ‘Person of Interest.’ I have to say it is a really great show and i enjoy every minute of it so far. Person of Interest is about A billionaire software-genius named Harold Finch who creates a Machine for the government that is designed to detect acts of terror before they can happen, by monitoring the entire world through every cell-phone, email and surveillance camera. Finch discovered that the machine sees everything, potential terrorist acts and violent crimes that involve ordinary people. Finch built a back door into the system that gives him the social security number of a person involved in a future violent crime so he could act. Partnered with John Reese, an ex-CIA agent, the two work in secret to prevent violent crimes before they can happen. The team also face dangers from the government which is keeping all knowledge of the machine secret from the public. Overall I am satisfied with the start of the series and seems as if it will only get better and better.

I have heard of the show but never knew about the basic plot which sounds very interesting. I am a fan of crime shows and this seems like a different take on a genre that is often overdone. I am looking forward to giving this one a chance soon!

My parents absolutely love this show, and personally I think it’s a great commentary on the power of the digital, technical world – its potential help and harm. I have been meaning to check it out!

I have not heard much about the show but the little i have heard has been great reviews. I might try to watch the first episode and see what i think usually if the first episode doesn’t grab my attention i have a hard time moving forward. I will have to give it a chance.

John, I watched an episode of “Person of Interest” with a suite mate of mine and it looked amazing! It reminds me very much of “The Minority Report”, which follows a similar tale of a system that detects crime before it happens and allows a specialized task force to stop it- the problem there though, is how do you arrest someone, before they have actually done anything?
